To avoid any dirt or stain from getting into the stone, we highly recommend you to seal any stone surfaces before installation. Due to the nature of our all natural stones, our stone counters & sinks may have a variation in color, discolorations or other such related birthmarks. Silkroad Exclusive uses all natural stones that come from the Earth, formed in natural processes, and so many contain imperfections.

Order Confirmation:       

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:                                                                                                     

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at info@thebedroomemporium.com.

Delivery Instructions: 

The shipping company will contact you and you will have 3 business days to set up your delivery appointment. It will be a curbside residential delivery. You may ask the driver to bring it inside the garage. PRIOR TO SIGNING FOR THE DELIVERY, inspect the outside of the box(es) and open the top. Notate ANY damages or imperfections you may see, such as; dents in the box, wrinkles, crushed corners, holes in box, tears, etc… Take pictures of the damages as well. This will be your proof that damages incurred during transit and you will be covered by the insurance. Please DO NOT NOTE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION OR SIMILAR NOTES. Notate damages on the delivery receipt and DO NOT sign. Refuse the entire delivery.

If when you attempt to open the box(es) and the driver says ”NO”. BEFORE you sign the delivery receipt, make the notation of the damages on the outside of the box(es) & include “Driver does not allow to open box(es)”. After you accept the delivery, open the box that same day and if there are any damages call/email us right away (photos can be sent later). Please don’t wait until the next day. An inspector would then be contacting you for an appointment to inspect the damaged goods. PLEASE KEEP THE PACKAGING.

***If you do not make any notes and just sign the receipt, you are agreeing that the shipment is in perfect condition, (whether the damage is concealed or not). The carrier may deny and damages found after you sign the delivery receipt and we will not be able to issue a refund, exchange, or replace the item for you.***

Cancellations & Refunds:                                                                                     

All orders cancelled after 24 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
