Shipping & Returns

Order Confirmation Email:

You'll receive an email confirmation shortly after placing your order. This means we've received it and pre-authorized your credit card. We then check stock with suppliers. If an item is unavailable, we'll void the pre-authorization and notify you. In-stock items ship within 5 business days.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and your card is charged, it will ship within 5 business days. You'll receive tracking info within 24 hours of shipment to the email you provided. If you don't receive it within 6 days, contact us at info@thebedroomemporium.com.

Cancellations & Returns:

• Orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 fee.

• You (the buyer) are responsible for return shipping if your order has shipped.

• Return authorization is required before returning any merchandise.

• Refunds are issued to the original credit card used for purchase.

• Undamaged merchandise must be returned within 30 days in original packaging with authorization.

• Damaged merchandise cannot be returned and will be invoiced.

• A 20% restocking fee applies to returned items (except for errors by Maxima House).

• Maxima House will cover return shipping for wrong or defective items.

Damages/Returns/Exchanges:

• Report damaged merchandise or missing parts within 30 days of receiving your order.

• Inspect your package upon arrival. Note any damage when signing for delivery.

• Email photos of damaged items to info@thebedroomemporium.com within 3 days of delivery for an insurance claim.

• Keep original packaging for returns.

• Prior return authorization is required. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Damaged Orders:

• Report damaged orders (during transport) within 3 days of delivery.

• Damaged items must be available for pickup or returned within 30 days (if return is authorized).

• Maxima House is not liable for carrier-caused damage. No refunds will be issued, but a claim will be filed for the approved amount.

• Not all claims are approved for the full amount.

Parts Availability & Manufacturer Defects:

• If a part is unavailable due to discontinuation, you'll receive a purchase price credit.

• Manufacturer defects are determined by Maxima House through inspection (in person or photo).

• Replacements are issued only after confirmation of a defect.

Exceptions to Manufacturer Defects:

• Slight color variations due to photography and printing.

• Slight softening of foam.

• Slight size variations due to using US standard measurements while manufacturing with the metric system.
